Lilac and Clover is a one-stop shop for all things handmade business. Made for Canadian Makers by a Canadian Maker, L+C is a culmination of everything Jess learned (and continues to learn) on her journey from a handmade hobbyist to full time entrepreneur.

Whether it’s a free download or a complete course, Jess continues to share her knowledge with fellow Canadian makers. She took years of ongoing research and placed it into classes and resources for Makers to use at their convenience. We want to help you go from selling to your family and friends, to having your products sold in shops and markets all over! From side hustle to main hustle, and living your best life!

We helped Jess make the transition from Maker to Maker-of-Maker’s by creating a cohesive business brand, and designing visual assets that were consistent with the newly re-vamped branding. We contributed valuable ideas and insights, managed social media, and created a stellar custom website with a wow factor that would help convert visitors into members of the Lilac and Clover community.

Branding and Identity

Jess already had some branding assets designed for Lilac and Clover as a soap making business, but as she made the transition to Lilac and Clover 2.0, these assets had to be tweaked. But there was still something missing. So Modus Operandi built a brand kit that acted as a guideline for all Lilac and Clover assets, which pulled it all together.

Customized Kajabi Website Design

The original Lilac and Clover 2.0 website was built on the Kajabi platform for the course functionality, but it lacked branding and personality. We brought life back into Lilac and Clover’s website! We customized the design, which created stronger brand recognition and gave visitors more confidence in the content. We designed it using UX (user experience) principles that would help increase website conversions.
